ITOXI announced on the 12th that it participated in the ‘Ukraine Reconstruction Project Advancement Strategy Seminar’ jointly held by the Korea International Trade Association and the Global Procurement Development Institute and presented cases of companies entering the local market.<\/p>

At this seminar held at the Trade Tower in Samseong-dong, Seoul, speakers such as Kim Man-ki, director of the Global Procurement Development Institute, Irina Pletnova, Mayor of Uman, Ukraine, Dr. Dorin Rotaru of the World Health Organization (WHO), and ITOXI CEO Jeon Bong-gyu participated as speakers to discuss the status of demand for reconstruction in Ukraine and participation in projects. Presentations were made on the topics of strategy, current status of local government-led reconstruction projects, and cases of local expansion into Ukraine.<\/p>

Kim Man-ki, director of the Global Procurement Development Institute, said, \u201cAccording to the Ukraine Emergency Damage and Reconstruction Requirements Analysis Report (RDNA) published by the World Bank, the total amount needed for Ukraine\u2019s recovery and reconstruction is estimated to be about $486 billion (approximately KRW 665 trillion). \u201cAs it has been analyzed that there is a large demand in the transportation and energy sectors, where Korean companies have strengths, domestic companies should participate in the reconstruction project in earnest through public procurement bidding, etc.,\u201d he said.<\/p>
